There’s something about a wedding at The Ernest Hemingway Home that always feels a little bit magical.
Maybe it’s the gardens. The way the light filters through the trees. Or the quiet charm of a place that feels both historic and deeply romantic at the same time.
And on Valentine’s Day, it felt even more so.
This celebration was intimate, thoughtful, and beautifully understated—allowing the setting to lead while the design followed in a way that felt natural and effortless.
The ceremony took place tucked within the lush garden.
A mix of white blooms, delicate greenery, and subtle movement created a look that felt organic, almost as if it had always belonged there.
Wood pedestals added warmth and structure, grounding the florals while still allowing them to feel loose and garden-inspired.
It was quiet. Romantic. Completely in tune with the space.
Instead of competing with the natural beauty of the property, the design leaned into it.
The palette stayed soft and refined—creamy whites, layered greens, and just enough variation in texture to keep everything interesting without ever feeling busy.
Even the smallest details carried that same sense of intention.
At each place setting, patterned napkins brought in a subtle, almost coastal softness, paired with gold flatware and delicate glassware that added just the right amount of polish.
A simple oyster shell place card added a personal, thoughtful touch—one of those details that feels small, but makes the experience feel considered.
As the sun set, the garden shifted.
String lights overhead and candlelight throughout the tables created a warm, inviting glow—transforming the space from soft and airy to something a little more intimate and atmospheric.
Long wooden tables were layered with low florals, textured glass, and flickering candles, allowing conversation and connection to take center stage.
Nothing felt overdesigned. Nothing felt forced.
It all flowed—naturally, seamlessly, and exactly as it should.
There’s something fitting about celebrating a wedding on Valentine’s Day—but this one felt especially meaningful.
Not because of the date alone, but because of how intentional everything was.
It wasn’t about doing more.
It was about doing just enough—and doing it beautifully.
Weddings like this are a reminder that some of the most impactful designs are also the most thoughtful.
Where the setting is honored.
The details feel considered.
And everything comes together in a way that feels effortless.
And in a place like The Ernest Hemingway Home, that kind of celebration feels right at home.
